Baltimore Oct 9th 1862
Dear Sister
I thought that
I would rite a few lines
to you this morning in
answer to those I received
from you yesterday I
am well as usual and hope
this will find you the same
tell all of the folks that
I would like to have ____
write to me tell Irene
Adelbert and Delivan to
write a letter and send to me
in the next letter that
ma writes tell Henry to
write tell him that I shall
write to him in two or
three days I have to sleep
sleep on the soft side of
a board Amasa write ---
got a letter from his folks
yesterday and his two little
brothers wrote him a letter
one of them is 4 years old
and the other is about six
I tell you it was wrote good
I got a letter from Henry
Coon and one from
Alonso York the 6th
Hoxie has not wrote
me yet you said you
wanted to see Capt Tuckers
photograph look at it as
long as you want to have
you seen the contryband so
if you haint I will write
of and send it to you I hav
all that I have time to this
so good by for this time this from
your affectionate brother
