Dr. Frederick Woodward, the sixth president off the
SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at
Morrisville, received a bachelor's degree from
the State College of Vermont, a master's and a
Doctor of Education degree from the University
of Virginia. His tenure saw the first baccalaureate
degrees offered on this campus, the establishment
of a distance learning program, the opening of a child
care center, revival of intercollegiate sports, including
football and ice hockey - with accompanying
facilities, and construction of a recreation
center. He led the way in securing the future of the
college as an educational entity.
