Drewry's Bluff on May 16, 1864; died as POW the same day.

Lt. Col. Benjamin C. Butler, 93d NYSV. May through July 1861 as "civilian"
paymaster for 22d NYSV, age 38; authorized to recruit a battalion of
sharpshooters in late 1861, and his four companies were assigned to the 93d
NYSV; mustered as Lt. Col. of the regiment Feb. 1862; WIA Oct. 2, 1864 at
Poplar Springs Church; discharged Feb. 2, 1865.

Private Sylvester Latham, Co. I, 96th NYSV. Joined at Plattsburg March 1864,
age 20; "never heard from again after action on the Charles City Road October
27, 1864."
