Morris Harrington Civil War Letters
Co. B, 3rd N.Y. Cavalry
Morris Harrington, age 19, enlisted on August 11, 1861 at Medina, N.Y.,
(Orleans County). On August 20, he mustered into Co. F, 3d NY Cavalry. He was
promoted to Sergeant, and he died of wounds on March 5, 1863.
These three letters written by Morris Harrington have been transcribed by and
are the sole property of William J. Upper. Mr. Upper's generosity in sharing
these documents with the Civil War community is greatly appreciated.
